Privacy Policy

What information do we collect?

We generally don't collect any information directly since we currently don't issue logins. Some of the third party affiliates we use and Google (see below) may collect data and you should review their privacy policies. Google Analytics collects aggregate site traffic data. Our ISP Yahoo collects some general data in the log files. This might include time of visit, daily totals of visitors, most popular pages and similar data. While no attempt is made to identify or otherwise track users ogs may contain some data which law enforcement might be able to use to track abusers back to an ISP.

As of April 2009 Google's AdSense has made some changes to the ads they serve. They now use the DART cookie which enables it to serve ads based on their visit to this site and other sites on the Internet. So if you visit car racing sites, that use Google to serve ads, you might see car racing ads on this site. Users may opt out of the use of the DART cookie by visiting the Google ad and content network privacy policy. I have no experience with this program yet but in the past Google Ads have been ok. If there is a problem of some sort let me know via my feedback form and I'll do my best to address it.

When sending feedback or registering on some section of our site like the Amazon or BigFishGames affiliate sections, you may be asked to enter your name, e-mail address, mailing address or phone number. Those third party sites have their own privacy policies which is why I have tried to stick to just well known affiliates. You may visit our site in relative anonymity by simply not logging in and using the Google link above to block the DART cookie.

What do we use your information for?

We currently don't other than to look at non-identifying statistical totals for Google Analytics, Amazon, BigFishGames and Google Adsense but we might eventually add cookies to personalize your experience, administer a contest, promotion, survey or to send administrative emails (if we add signups down the road).

How do we protect your information?

Our ISP and affiliates implement security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. We apply security patches and updates to the CMS regularly.

Do we use cookies?

Cookies may be used in some instances by our ISP or third party affiliates. (Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computers hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow) that enables the sites or service providers systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information

If you prefer, you can choose to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is being sent, or you can choose to turn off all cookies via your browser settings. Like most websites, if you turn your cookies off, any settings saved in a cookie might not function properly.

Do we disclose any information to outside parties?

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This might not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others rights, property, or safety. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided as aggregate data to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.
